The day started early at the salon, we typically like to get to the Bridal Prep venue around the time they arrive so we are able to capture plenty of footage.
Capturing the Bride, Liz, was awesome, she has such a warm spirit, it translated extremely well to video.
Capturing the bridesmaids was effortless, for the simple fact that they were beyond inviting. They didn't feel awkward in front of a camera which of course helps us a lot!
Being creative as possible in spaces where there is so much going on at once is ideal. Capturing mirror shots of bridemaids prepping.
Truly appreciative of people who can genuinely be themselves on camera. Really is a gift!
Capturing the Mother of the Bride! We've learned over the years that even the smallest shots can help communicate just how family oriented a wedding is. Liz's mother was amazing. She was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure we filmed everything we needed to.
All ready for her hairstyling!
After gathering shots at the salon, we headed over to the hotel where we captured jewlery and dress shots. Here is a shot of Liz's earrings, we used a 100mm Macro lens to help capture as much detail as possible.
If you're familiar with our Wedding video work, you may know that we absolutely love capturing dress shots!
After the ceremony at Notre Dame's Basilica, we traveled around campus to capture some shots of the Wedding Party. Loving the colors. Super Vibrant!
We worked alongside Amber Jeanne for the Parker Wedding. Her work effort and style are absolutely flawless. Her work is BEAUTIFUL! Please go have a look at her work, we will tag her information at the end of this blog!
*IT WAS SUPER COLD OUTSIDE, DON'T MIND THE HUGE JACKETS*
Our sole priority is to catch candid moments, though sometimes we like to stage shots to get some nice symetry and motion. Here is Mihkail directing the groomsmen after the ceremony for a shot.
Reception time! During cocktail hour, we are filming table settings and decorations in venue. We try our best to do the venue justice!
The speeches set the tone for the reception. They were genuine and catered to Eric and Liz's relationship with one another. The lighting was SPECTACULAR. Absolutely loved the depth it created.
All in all, this wedding was fantastic. The ceremony was beautiful and the music by Notre Dame's Folk Choir was uplifting and beautifully harmonized. The reception was filled with smiles, laughter, great food and plenty of dancing.
To Eric and Liz, you both were and are amazing people. We wish you both nothing but the best in your journey together. Enjoy one another every single day!
